The Most Mysteriosu Man in the World
****************************************

( a high school story )

His many dictates were simple, to the point.
What his wishes lacked in detail t he more than made up for by the crisp, clear delivery.
Vulgar, yes, but never hesitant.

What we thought were merely playful changes
of mind turned out, I am sad to say, a series of quite dangerous mood swings, The Most Mysterious Man in the World was taking us for fools. We couldn't tell him. After all, he _was mysterious.

Perhaps the very clarity of his orders were hidden by our desire to see, but without actually being able to see. So we faked it.

Almost immediately, there was a division amongst we faithful as to what he really wanted us to do.. Were his words actual or alegorical ?
How could anyone be sure?

The fighting raged and the radicals declared that they knew his true will.. and they said so, in no uncertain terms

Oh how the blood flowed as the two sides fought a deadly struggle that would permit only the right interperatation to exist, In the end, it was the revisionists who got the final say as to how it all began, who was involved, why they did what they did, where it was done and who was to blame.

Insincere compromise, The mark of the beast
