The twin White Poodles

Jinky and me were down at the River
it was windy
and it sort of hurt his ears
so he was a little bit crabby
ears are that big
wind would hurt them
the wind and waves were seriously big
when you are small as Jinky
this combination can be dangerous
so we walked around
on the grassy meadow
above the iron stairs
that lead to the beach
and we saw a sign that said :
DANGER!
Abnormal levels
of Bacteria
It is unsafe
to swim at this beach
Do not remove
this notice
under penalty of law
wow
how many dogs
have been swimming who can't read?
and then tracked their toxic carcassess into the house when the kids hug them
and then breathe on their supper?
I don;t want to know
Then Jinky noticed a lady
with two twin white poodles
sitting at a bench off to one side
the lady was scolding them
wagging her finger at them
as they sat uncomfoatable
wearing matching red collars
and their matching red dog leashes
were firmly in the ladys other fist
Jinky runs up to them silently
from upwind
approaching from behind
' ha it was so easy to sneak up
on two distracted poodles
and lunge out at them
from beneath the bench
the poodles were about Jinkys size-
somewhat smallish
and frisky-
an ideal double target for his
Sabre tooth leopard fantasy
when the twin white poodles
realised they had been
suckered stalked
by a lone wild and free
untethered red kitten'
they went biserk
twin bizerk
this greatly displeased the lady
who hissed them to be quiet
QUIET! QWY-ETTTTE !
SHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
She had been diciplining them
for some other behavioural sin
when Jinky interupted her lesson
But the twin white poodles
were seriously annoyed'
and would not stop
their frenzy of rage
against the interloper red cat
so the lady leaned over
and slapped their little twin white faces
she deliberately slapped them
I saw her do it
and so did Jinkly
the twin white dogs
became instantly silent'
humiliated'
they stood like lost beings
stripped of all self respect
Jinky stopped in his tracks
at the sight of the twin white
humiliated tethered poodles
and glared in disbelief
time itself stopped
as the moral reality
manifested within the souls
of the three small animals
they instintly sensed
a great crime
had just transpired
slapping the faces of tied up
sucky young poodles
for any reason whatseoever
is a crime against decency
even a guiltless cat knows
when sucky dogs
are being mistreated
so Jinky slinked away
greatly embaressed for his dog foes
who had been so badly treated
by their loving and attentive
but control freak dog Mom
We can't say for sure
but we suspect
there will be some angry puddles
of twin white poodle pee
on something that lady treasures
later tonight..
maybe her own bed
You cannot
slap a poodle
in this world
and get away with it
slapping two poodles
who live together
tied up together
is just asking for divine revenge
No poodle punisher
can sleep easy
that warm feeling
after midnight
may not be
what they were expecting..
