Useless boys become just
more socially useless
withdrawn and inner violent
Eager gamnin' girls
soon become aggressive
and boastfully nasty
gaming cliques subdivide
until its a huge one on one scene
snapping at points
like fish at breadcrumbs
really nuts
and none of it is real
and time is passing
never to return
most gamer people tend to
age badly
and slowly fall away
through cracks of their own making
back to some dreary basement apt.
and another microwave meal
what will the future hold for them?
what will 40 year old gamers end up as ?
Securiity guards
with a rich fantasy life
cyber maiden pinups
and a microwave meal
for thanksgiving
Game boys become men
after they die
like redundant
science fiction readers
stacked up like sand bags
out of the way
