Winter Olympics

loving a snow girl
in cold weather
takes snowballs
she is frozen to a snowman
with has his back to her
who doesn;t care if
he freezes or thaws
nor if she gets
turned into sno cones
Icy indifference
as the temperature falls
sharply off at sunset
spring is approaching
winter is receeding
maybe she wanted
a snowshovel hero
to dig her out
before spring arrives
before she defrosts
before she melts
into a puddle
we're all 9/10ths water
but 10% something else
