Midnight Mess

Crushette
was waiting at midnight
to say goodnight
and asked me if
I multi task chatted ?
do I talk to
more than
one person at a time ?
I said no, never
she seemed relieved
for some reason
which is curious
because she once mentioned
that sometimes,
she herself
did the multi chat
slate juggle dance
She tells me what she does
and asks me what i do
between chats and we say and
so far
there has been no hint
of a " Mr Relationship "
in any weekend activities
if I ask right out
I might come off
as a jealous suitor
rushing something
that was only a figment
in my overheated imagination
if I don;t ask her right out
and take this veiled truth
at honest face value-
know the truth
and live free
by the magic power of chocolate
I vow that I will not
end up
in a line up
on Valentines Day
