Fuck Art- Fuck Artists

POINT
"Amateur Artists",
those who appreciate art
but hardly practise it
and need not work
to make a living.
They fill their lives
with emotional drama
and holy crap,
it's totally
reality tv today.
That's kinda sad.
COUNTERPOINT
it's these legions
of corn fed amateur artists
who no longer dabble but
- they come out to see plays,
attend the gallery openings ,
support orchestras
and attend the disease balls
and they _pay to get in-
- they don't try to sneak in
through the fire exits
or pretend they know the band
Nobody else
even notices the arts
because we don't
really matter
enough to
really matter
and until
we do matter
nobody will care
if we live or die
