Letter to Rose

Difficulty is,
attributes, virtues
or excesses can be examined
as separate aspects of a person=
but the individual
is a package deal.
It's one thing
to give empathy as required ,
it's quite another
when empathy is demanded of us.
Mental health issues
are rapidly becoming
the leading heath care task'
...worldwide =
and in a decade,
it will cost Canada
as much to deal with
mental health issues
as we earn in all foreign trade,
In other words,,
everybody being crazy
is gonna cost us the farm.
If the giant cow parsnip
can survive & prosper
in the swamps of uncertainty
in spite of extermination
by eco yuppies
= so can we
