Andy Warhole's Tombstone **************************** Pop artist Andrew Warhola ( 1928- 1987 ) is buried in a Pittsburg PA cemetary. A steady succession of fans leave tribute cans of tomato soup on his headstone, which just rust in the rain and leave brown rings.. His family has to scrub these off with steel wool. --------- when a man's art sells for over a million dollars per silk screen print many years after he has died it's time for a sidewalk star in Manhattan so his grave gets left alone His reputation is for anybody to observe any way they wish but his familiy owns his body or more accurately, family is the curator of flesh alive or dead as it is through the agency of family you receive a body in the first place and it is family who are responsible to dispose of it when fans regularily leave mess for the family to clean up it's time for an off site shrine
