Legal Pot- so what? ******************** my true opinion is as follows Pot = money and fear it basically is self generated welfare for thousands of otherwise non productive people who directly tax the working class for the privilege of getting mushy headed selling them weed its an interesting market that works on its own the cops can read it everyday by putting on jeans and shopping in bars, grow shops and schoolyards I am sure legislators laugh at the sheer cheek of walk in pot stores and be sure each one has been visited by detectives who spell out the unwritten rules because cops run the whole pot racket from above the little pot snots manage to feed themselves on the scraps well fine who cares I learned in Ottawa from frank discussions with you know who that keeping pot illegal is the easiest containment approach & by far- and govt has explored every model you could possibly imagine -- if pot creates a cancer source, well Ok - its illegal- not their problem if pot does destroy brains well ok its illegal- its not their problem if pot is nothing. just spearmint or basil-- let the guy off for procession but nail him for trafficking if he gets too big its not their problem they don't want pot to be their problem and I don't blame them Letting the pot market create its own climate gravity heritage and moral code is completely acceptable it is a fringe society pastime- at best- at best pot did not change the world the world changed pot anyone who wants to join the tax rolls can but they will have to hide their pot use and piss in a cup for their certificate of straightness Insurance builds its own walls the feds just shrug insurance calls more shots than morality or law they call all the compliance shots for practical life no appeal will ever happen pot is an unacceptable risk to obtain coverage no govt can change that requirement and it will stay that way until such time as the Insurance people change their risk assessment even if a roadside THC test appears its still up to the insurance people to accept it and right now 0.00 % is their benchmark a thc test would only make more people ineligible to drive be glad the thc test scene has frozen at 1999 technology if Govt really wanted a digital saliva breath thc tester it would exist-- but they don't want the responsibility all cops and insurance have to do now is prove SOME level of thc to get a bingo call not a ceiling level of safety or danger or any of that service to humanity stuff just showing any amount of a controlled substance does their job of enforcement next sucker-- step right up
