The Lion- a symbol of all things good *************************************** I am reflecting on cats and the only difference between cats and lions is merely...size they are pretty much the same in every other way the lion.. a symbol representing exceptionally moral and fierce ancient nations The UK, Iraq, Ethiopia,- no bird, bear or rodent will do lions held as clan totems for smaller noble fierce groups of people even if the nearest real lion is 1000 km away because the lion represents things that noble people value 1) toughest of all animals 2) when a lion starts a fight he usually wins 3) lions routinely attack larger animals 4) lions can hunt alone as experts 5) lions can hunt in pairs and packs also 6) lions kill to eat, not to cause trouble 7) lions eat fresh live animals, not leftovers 8) a lion will share his food with his girlfriend, his cubs his old parents & share opportunities with any of his deserving relatives 9) a male lion feed his wife and cubs before eating anything himself 10_ a lion easily knows his immediate family, his parents sisters and brothers & cousins from all other lions 11 ) related lions welcome each other when returning from any outside activity, even an unsuccessful hunt 12) a male lion will let his cubs walk allow him and bite him and not take offence 13) lions are faithful mates all their lives- even with facebook 14) a pair of lions will have several litters of lion kittens over several years. launch young lions into full independence yet still retain a strong loving bond with one mate 15) a pair of old lions still hang out together even if they no longer make kittens or hunt 16) a pair of lions begets a loving family, thus a pride of affectionate relatives, then eventually a engenders a whole nation of blood relative lions who rule a vast region simply by getting along together 17) Male lions are tough but female lions are equally as tough in every way 18) when lions get old , lame or blind they are fed by stronger younger lions 19) no lion complains about giving or receiving this sacred food 20) any lion will attack anybody who even dares to approach a relative with malice, real or perceived 21) a lion will fight to the death and never surrender, nor accept the chains of slavery 22) oddly, a young lion raised with people will exibit all these noble characteristics unprompted 23) a lion raised with people will be tender & loyal to his human family as if it was his own lion family 24) a lion raised with humans will rip up anybody who dares to molest his human family 25) lions hold no grudges and forgive quickly 26) a lion will respond to easy generosity and return it with easy affection 27) once a lion trusts you is your friend forever 28) a lion minds his own business & will ignore any other creatures he isn't interested in eating 29) a lion is lean, clean and sanitary at all times 30) an elephant may never forget, but a lion always remembers 31) a dog may be mans best fried, a diamond might be a womans best friend but to a lion,- another lion ( or equivilant ) is a lions best friend 32) a lion displays emotions that noble people can easily identify with: :desire, planning, ambition, follow through, victory, love, respect, duty, dreaming, rest and relaxation, romance, parential discression, generosity, frugality, silence, boastfullness, rage- sweetness- honour, vengence, salutation, indifference, self awareness, cognative superiority, strength, tenderness, death dealer, life protector, friend , enemy, leader, follower, at hand guardian, horizion watcher, proud, content, overviewist, detailer.. mind very much here and now/.heart set upon long term continuity, purposeful rest, purposeful action
