Modern times : Ancient irritants

when we doubt their existence.
I had a furious fight
with an acquaintance
who brought, uninvited
his flea ridden all natural dog
I objected to this
- he yelled racist
as I pushed undisciplined
dog outside with a broom --
-- dog tied up on porch
still blew fleas in here
which bit my hedgehog and cat,
I vacuumed the house
in honour of his visit
the asshole
Idiot guy comes over
a few days later to return books, scratching all the way-
thanks for the library drop off but
HE reinfected my home and pets
with fleas from his own
modern soap smelling
post Ikea yuppy body-
he would _not accept
his role in the equation..
So I threw him out
told him to park his car
off the property=
as fleas jump out open windows
if they detect the
infra red radiation
of a warm mammal.
That would be me, my cat and hedgehog
certified mammals all
Mr Goodvermin is a
University grad,
but otherwise
not too bright
in ways of the world.
He told me I should read
modern literature
not Plague horror stories
from the middle ages-
right , the AIDS HIV
graveyard guide for doubters
But at least he permitted
scientific inquiry methodology.
He wouldn't dare not
I held a sheet of newspaper
in front of him and turned on
a 100 watt desk lamp
directly behind the news paper
Twenty seconds later
ping ping.... ping
as the fleas jumped off him
towards the heat source
on the way striking the paper...
Virus spreads
in hot weather splendidly-
-infection will colonize
a person in weakened state-
- like mold on bread -
its total contamination
long before the green parts show believe it..
virus will dry and lay in
suspended animation
on your clothes and hair
and as you gesture -
the virus colony
will self sprinkle a
little rain of fertile spores
that get planted in a
respiratory, digestive tract
of some tender warm mammal-
a baby pr old person
is the ideal target -
why new Moms of yore
would go into total
unbreachable quarantine
seclusion for a few weeks
to keep people away..
even the Dad if necessary..
how high infant mortality occurs, people lose more
babies than animals do..
smallpox is returning
to the modern world
because modern people
don't believe in it anymore,
A jet ride from Mogadishu
to New York by one cheater
is all it needs..
why immigration from certain zones
of earth is not allowed,
this is humanity management hardball -
You would require a dozen different inoculation shots to visit Africa..
or you would not be allowed to return to squeaky clean Canada
that or enter into strict quarantine
at the airport
new situation-- Avian flu ( bird )
has mutated and people can get it.
Cats eating birds get it and pass it onto people//cats visiting cats
who ate infected birds pass it on to people...
they are shooting cats
in China right now--
just in case
Asia burnt ten million chickens
some years ago
Europe burnt 5 million cows
Now that billions of people
live so close
and circulate so freely
nobody can afford to take chances
